Isenberg alumni have been out and about, making an impact with their careers and passion projects—and it shows! Most of these updates have been submitted by alumni about themselves, but we also welcome submissions from organizations and friends who have news about people in our community.
| Mary Anne Smrz ’80 MS: As an avid kayaker, I have spent many years since my graduation from UMass kayaking and facilitating kayaking retreats. In addition, I have written four books called my Reflections from the Red Kayak series. The books are a collection of insights relating experiences of kayaking and elements of nature to life. My latest book, Paddlin’ with Thoreau, was published last year and I am excited to be presenting selections from my book at the Annual Gathering of the Thoreau Society in Concord from July 10-14 this year. The Thoreau Society has members in all 50 states and 20 countries, so it is a wonderful opportunity. For more details you can visit my website at www.redkayak.net. |
